We all usually hear the line “I feel that I’ve already known him/her for a long time.” . Probably it’s because that we feel that we connected to them at once when we first met them. But, have you already heard someone said “I thought that we were different all this time.”? Rarely, I guess.

To know someone for almost a decade and just discover now that you weren’t different in many aspects you thought you never would share, could never be more awesome; You learn A LOT of similarities that you both have – dreams, hobbies, passion, plans, desires, philosophy; Share the same list of “to-do” stuff which is to be done not out of nothing but out of something for greatness; You’d be surprised to know that your appeal and fascination to save-the-earth was also something significant to the other. It would just be astonishing to also hear someone plea about saving our environment because most people would find it unnecessary and useless; Staying in a book store is as lovely as riding in a carousel, and could again be alluring, captivating, and enchanting to see that someone is also riding along with you;Traveling alone is just something you’d ever wish for so you can have all the chances to do anything you want, but to later find out that it could also be possible to travel alone-together with someone who also plans to travel with no plans at all is just unbelievable; And to realize that your minds go to a common place where you wish for something good to happen, for longer patience in waiting for what you hope for, to live in a fast-paced lifestyle that hopefully starts sooner, for the decisions that you made will never be regretted but will be something you’ll stand up ’til the end, and to believe that you are still strong despite your weaknesses.

Nevertheless, not to share such similarities with someone doesn’t follow that you aren’t the best of friends or aren’t compatible to each other, or anything for that matter. Its how things go… You find friends, build a great connection and a deeper friendship, and stay that way until you allow it. You might also find someone whom you’d think as your soul mate for such an outstanding connection you had. But to find out such wonderful and specific similarities with someone who never even crossed your mind to correlate with is just amazing. You don’t know how or what you can call it, maybe your bestest friend, special friend, closest friend, or simply your “PERSON“, but it is more delightful to have that person, more fascinating to have concealed it, and much interesting in exploring what’s more.

I believe it rarely happens, like once in a blue moon… That’s why you just can’t help but embrace it and have a strong attachment to that person. It’s probably unexpected, but it’s a different unexpected moment that could start a change in your life and lead to something great that you also would not expect to happen.

It’s like finding an island in the middle of the ocean then later found out that both of you have been living in the same island, and you’d just never wish anything else but to stay in it as long as and whatever it takes. :D
